Insurance
The Lake Plains Optical Shop may have different participating insurance providers than the eye doctors at LPEC. Before purchasing glasses or contact lenses, please check with your insurance provider to verify what your vision benefits are. When applicable, we are happy to work with you on a case-by case-basis to provide you with all documentation required to ensure that you get your maximum insurance reimbursement.

Lori Haas
Lori graduated from SUNY Morrisville in 1993 with a degree in Medical Lab Technology. Following graduation she began a 30 year career with a retail chain. Shortly after she earned her NYS Optician’s license. In 2017 she was awarded “Optician of the Year” for the Western NY District of stores. Lori loves the Brockport community, and has lived here and raised a family here since 2000. Some of her hobbies include hiking, biking, trail running, camping and horses. She also loves art as you can see many of her family members art at shows and offices around the area. Lori loves to talk with her patients about their hobbies and how the right pair of glasses can help you enjoy the things you love. She is so grateful to have found her home here with the Lake Plains family.

Dave Viterna
Dave attended Erie County Community College from 1992-1994 and graduated with degree in Opthalmic Dispensing. He graduated from SUNY Brockport in 1984 with a B.A. degree in Music. His ratings were High Level of Trust by his Clients and he is highly respected by both his peers in the Optical Field and the Doctors whose Rx’s for Glasses he processes. He earned a 5 star rating for “Listening and Answering Questions” and is regarded as excellent in making recommendations for his patrons at Lake Plains Optical.
